The hepatitis B vaccine or HBV is used to protect your child from the hepatitis B virus. This virus is considered very harmful and can damage liver and cause even death. It is highly infected virus. It is essential to give this vaccine to your child to protect him/her from infection of this virus from any close contact of person who infected from hepatitis B.
After giving hepatitis B vaccine, your child may feel like fever. You can consult your doctor if it persist for a long time or found any other reaction after vaccination.
A DTP or DTaP vaccine is used to protect child from three diseases known as diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (whooping cough).
It can cause due to bacterial infection. It affects in throat that makes unable to breathe, swallow and cause suffocation. Child affected from Diphtheria need to treat immediately otherwise due to toxin produced by infected bacteria affects organs or tissue in the body and sometimes cause paralysis or affects heart.
Tetanus also known as lockjaw is a bacterial infection. It causes major and painful muscle spasms, seizures, and paralysis. It is not infectious. It affects through any break in the skin and enters in the skin. It is essential to take Tetanus vaccine for any major wound or injuries. You need to make it clean and take proper treatment immediately for any major injuries or wound.
It can cause due to bacterial infection. Pertussis also known as whooping cough is infectious. DTP vaccine prevent from such childhood disease. Due to whooping cough, it is unable for child to eat, drink or even breathe. If not treated earlier, it can cause pneumonia, seizures or damage in brain.
HiB (Haemophilus Influenzae Type B) is used to protect your child from a severe infection cause by bacteria. This virus affects children under age of five years. It causes throat infection and make hard to swallow or take breath. It can cause pneumonia, and a disease called bacterial meningitis. Haemophilus influenzae can cause serious joint, skin infections and other less common infections.
Polio (IPV) vaccine is used to protect from polio – poliomyelitis, which is a very contagious disease. It causes due to virus which attacks the nervous system.
Pneumococcal Vaccine is used to protect child from pneumococcal infections. It affects children under age of 5 years. Due to bacterial infection it spread from close contact or from cough. It can also cause disease such as meningitis and pneumonia with the effect of infection. Shaking fever, chest pain, coughing and weaknesses are some symptoms of pneumococcal pneumonia.
MMR vaccine is used to protect child against measles, mumps, and rubella viruses.
World over Measles can affect child at least once. It is infectious virus. Some common symptoms are fever, rashes, cough and many times cause irritation in eyes.
It causes due to viral infection. Mumps cause fever, headache or swelling glands under the jaw. It can also cause deafness, meningitis, swelling of ovaries or the testicles.
Rubella is also known as German measles. It causes pink or reddish rashes starts on the face and affects for three days. If woman affected with rubella during pregnancy it may harmful for baby and can cause birth defect or miscarriage.

Hepatitis A vaccine is used to protect your child from hepatitis A virus. Hepatitis A virus is transmitted through unhygienic food and water. It causes a liver disease.
Some symptoms of Hepatitis A are fever, vomiting, dark urine, abdominal pain. Hepatitis A virus is less harmful than Hepatitis B.
