Atman feel quite smothered by family demands and at times that of friends too. Atman's father are completely opposite, they are very emotional and devoted towards the family needs. When Atman and Atman's father are in a relation, Atman's father give it utmost care and attention selflessly. However, Atman take it all for granted and contribute very little from its side. Atman needs autonomy and independence while Atman's father longs for closeness, intimacy as well as mutual dependency. This often creates conflict between the two.
