I want to know if chevdo (indian snack) good to eat during I am pregnant? Also, is khichia, papad and puri? Will it harm the baby?

Pregnancy is the best time to regulate healthy diet plan to avoid any future health issues to mother and baby both.

You can eat all the healthy food.

Adding more green vegetables and fresh fruits to your diet.

You should avoid food like:

Dip fried food.
Processed food.
Drinks with added sugar
Packed ready to eat food.

You should add food to your diet like:

Green leafy vegetables
Fresh fruits
Lemon water
coconut water

This does not mean that you need to forget yummy bites.

All you need to take care is, you eat nutrient, hygienic yummy food means, if you have craving fro "Chat" you can eat it but, healthy and hygienic Chat. Like:

Take the following:

1\2 Apple
1\2 Cucumber
1\2 Potato
1\2 Onion
1\2 Guava
Mint leaves
Sesame seeds
Home made Chevada


Part 1:

Boil corn and potato.

Cut Apple, Cucumber, Onion, Guava, Coriander nicely and mix them.

take boiled potato, clean its skin and smash it, mix it in the mixture.

Take boiled corn and grab its beans, mix it in mixture.

Add salt to taste and pinch of red chilly powder in the mixture.

Part 2:

Take fresh mint leaves, clear them in bowl.

Add green chilly salt, sugar, peanuts, coconut, sesame seeds etc

Take this mixture in grinder add 1 cup filtered water and grind well.

Add this to mixture made.

You can also add home made chevda in it and enjoy the healthy and most yummy "Chaat"

You can make the variations as per your mood like:

You can also add some bit root, grapes, dried fruits, cranberries, sprouts etc.

You can always eat all hygienic food during pregnancy.

If you will change your diet completely all of the sudden by knowing you are pregnant then, your body will not accept the sudden change in diet.

So try to eat all the normal food like all other days.

You can eat hygienic less oily chevda, khichia, papad and puriTongue
