It can happen in pregnancy, You can continue with pregnancy, but you need to be very careful about:

Your wife's diet
Make sure she dose regular exercise like walking
Regular medical checkup

But always take the advise of doctor as each lady faces different things during pregnancy and it must be treated after proper diagnoses only.

My wife is pregnant 3rd month running, In blood test indicate blood sugar level 160 and urine test indicate normal. what is her condition, can we continue pregnancy or not?
