These Bed rails has issues with its height though the company mentions that the product can accomodate thick mattresses but the height of the Rail is 20'', so before buying this product keep in mind the 20'' inch height factor, as the mattresses with thickness of more than 4'' to 5'' inches might  be of little worry as the top space of the rail will be not as effectively higher than the mattress. Too low for today's deep pocket mattresses. Also quality could have been improvised. When it comes to childs safety, their should be utmost care taken for every minute things. These Bedrails are affective with box spring and mattresses , if using the same with slat beds it might just not turn up to be a good product.
