About Product

Cleaning, washing, and sterilizing the feeding bottles of the baby is one of the daily chores of a mother.  At times it can seem like a never-ending task.

This sterilizer is made from BPA free (Bisphenol A, or BPA, is a chemical compound used in the production of polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins) material.

The 3-in-1 functionality gives you the liberty to sterilize small, medium as well as large size bottles. The small size, configuration allows you to sterilize teats, soothers. The medium size, configuration ensures all the breast pumps, knives, forks, and toddler plates get properly sterilized. The large size, configuration allows you to sterilize 6 feeding bottles.there are two plastic compartments that can be used together or separately, as required.

This sterilizer is suitable for narrow neck as well as wide neck bottles. The steam sterilizer has a 6 minute cycle with automatic shut-off. It uses steam sterilization to properly clean the items. This steam sterilizer kills 99.9 % of harmful germs.

Sterilizer will ensure that your baby remains protected from tummy upsets and diarrhea. It is easy to use. All you need to do is pour some water into the sterilizer and press the button to cleanse your baby's feeding equipment. You can conveniently place your baby's feeding bottle in the sterilizer for as long as 24 hours, provided the lid remains closed.

This sterilizer generates steam from a small quantity of water, which is circulated through the two compartments to sterilize their contents. There is a heating plate in the base unit which hold approx. 100 ml of water. The area surrounding the heating plate is designed to catch the spill once the steam condenses back to water. Overall, the space won't be an issue with this sterilizer for sure. Quick and efficient, hardly consumes any electricity.

The negative part of the product comes when the water quality used in your house is not good, it leads to rust The product is heavily dependent on the quality of water in your house. RO water can be used for sterilization. Poor water quality also leads to bad odor in the bottles, which may lead to feeding issues.  The power cord is very small in size if the socket unit is not more convenient near the item than extension needs to be used.

About Company/Brand

Philips AVENT is a company based in England manufacturing baby bottles, breast pumps, and other baby feeding and health accessories. AVENT came from the sub brand Avent Naturally which was launched by a Company called Cannon Rubber (est.1936). The Brand was created in 1984 to launch a new type of baby bottle that was short with a wide neck. Avent was the first baby feeding company to produce teats from odourless and tasteless silicone as well as other patented innovations such a the Steam and Microwave Sterilisers and piston free Breast Pump. In 2005 Charterhouse Venture Capital bought the company, then known as Cannon Avent from the Atkin family (second generation owners.) They then sold it in 2006 to Philips and the company became Philips AVENT.
