During pregnancy, you must have adored the sight of your shiny and black locks. But ever since you have delivered your child, you must have noticed considerable hair fall.
Well, this is pretty normal and is known as post-partum hair fall. The post pregnancy changes lead to falling of hair which you had gained during your pregnancy period. If it’s happening in a moderate amount, you don’t have to worry much. But if you feel that you are losing too much of hair, try out the following tips to control hair fall.
1. Avoid hairstyles that can stretch the strands: The hair follicles get weak after pregnancy which basically leads to their fall. See to it that you don’t make any hair style that is pulled or stretched too harder. Keep it simple and loose.
2. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables: Fresh fruits and vegetables are rich sources of fiber and antioxidants that aid in hair growth and prevent hair fall. Make sure your diet is rich in fruits and vegetables. Eat lots of salads and keep your diet balanced.
3. Use a quality shampoo: The quality of shampoo can also tend to cause hair fall. When buying the shampoo, look for the ones that contain biotin and silica. They moisturize the scalp and thus prevent hair fall. Also, don’t use warm water to wash your hair, rinse them with cold water.
