Athmah feel quite smothered by family demands and at times that of friends too. Athmah's mother are completely opposite, they are very emotional and devoted towards the family needs. When Athmah and Athmah's mother are in a relation, Athmah's mother give it utmost care and attention selflessly. However, Athmah take it all for granted and contribute very little from its side. Athmah needs autonomy and independence while Athmah's mother longs for closeness, intimacy as well as mutual dependency. This often creates conflict between the two.
