Repetitive stress injury related to computer

Today computers are those ought equipments are found in every house. They make the world run. Every invention has a precaution. Sitting for long in front of the computer can cause problems related to neck and back. Even the arm gets affected. These kinds of issues are known as computer related stress injuries.  Most of the people in the world who suffer from these injuries are adults than children. Adults spend long hours in front of the computer. Parents even work on computers for long. Parents have the responsibility of saving themselves and protecting their kids from the injuries.
If too much stress is put on a joint an injury is developed. These are called Repetitive stress injuries (RSI) spending long hours working on the laptops and computers, playing video games, musical instruments and repetitive motions associated with hand or leg joints are likely to be categorized under Repetitive stress injuries. Epicondylitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, reflex sympathetic dystrophy ,cervical radiculo pathy, ganglion cyst, tendonitis and cysts are few diseases which creep in due to continuous stress on a particular point. The cause of the diseases is irritation as the human body does not have time to recoup. 
Symptoms of RSI

  • If you are experiencing continuous pain relax yourself.
  • Cradling the phone on the shoulder leads to cervical radiclopathy due to disk compression on the neck. Avoid using long phone calls.
  • Tearing of muscles takes place when long working or playing hours are spent.
  • The back pain creeps in due to sitting in the same place near the computer. Do exercises.
  • Reflex sympathetic dystrophy is a painful condition where the muscles lose control.
  • Eye strain has the symptoms like sore or tired eyes. Try using eye drops, consulting a doctor and washing eyes with water.
