Raising a dyslexic kid

Children suffering from this disease are same as other children just they need some special care during their initial phase of their childhood, hold patience and your child will be alright. Parenting a dyslexic child may be a bit difficult but if you opt for these methods that may prove easier. Give your full attention and time to your child, try to assist and boost her/his confidence. Doesn’t loose temper be calm and support them in their studies, don’t point out mistakes every time the time rather encourages their talent, make them to practice.

You can take training before handling such situation too. Analyze your child’s strength, observe carefully and understand his/her skills. Motivate and explore favorite activities, participate as a part of support, your child may become expert in his favorite activity as it is his passion. Spend as much time as possible but that should be quality time too, you can educate them with the help of games, puzzles, toys, pictures that may be interesting for them and they can remember easily. But don’t forget to time to time consultation with doctor as this can help you to analyze your progress. Meditation and yoga can be relaxing for your child too.
