Postpartum exercise

Postpartum exercise should be avoided as they may cause serious affect both to mother and the foetus. Some exercises are not safe during the pregnancy as they might cause any irregulation or some complications in the delivery. Though many doctors advice some exercise which would help the foetus and the mother but they are very specific in number. The exercises which the pregnant lady should avoid are mainly those that exert too much pressure on the body or the abdomen region. Pregnant lady should avoid crunches as they might inflate your uterus, heavy weight lifting exercise should also be avoided as it may result in miscarriage.

Exercise of high impacts or effects should be avoided as it can exert pressure on the womb. Small stretches is good for the mother but extended stretches cause pain in joints and ligaments therefore it should be avoided. Physical sports must be avoided as it requires high stamina which generally lack in a pregnant woman. Jumping and fitness exercises are also not good for the mother and the baby because they increase the chances of dilation of uterus. Therefore great attention should be given to the exercise routine of a pregnant lady.
