Male contraceptive injections

The male birth control shots contain two hormones. The first one is Testosterone, the male sex hormone and the second one is Progestin, the female sex hormone. Progestin in make birth control shots is available in synthetic form. In order for these shots to work properly a man has to get them after every two weeks. The basic functionality of these shots includes controlling the brain and making it to reduce the release of some sex hormones in the body. Reduction in release of these hormones causes low or nil production of sperms in the male body.  The basic advantage that male birth control shot has over female birth control is that the side effects or the risks are very low. The process is also completely reversible meaning when a man decides to discontinue the shots; his sperm count goes back to normal within a few weeks.
Male birth control shots are an effective means of avoiding unplanned pregnancy in a relationship where the need for a baby has not arisen yet. It provides long term resistance to pregnancy and also does not cause potency in any of the partners. The couple can choose to discontinue it whenever they want.
