Sometimes spotting is normal during early pregnancy.

It can be a sign of major health issue in pregnancy so, it is better to take an appointment of doctor and get yourself checked.

There are many reasons that causes bleeding during pregnancy like:

Fertilized egg implanting in the uterus
Hormone changes
Love making
Ectopic pregnancy
Sign of a miscarriage

If you feel:

Heavy bleeding with pain or cramps
Pain in stomach etc

Call your doctor immediately.

Just diet is not the solution for Bleeding.
