You can not stick to 1 diet plan for 6 months to 2 years, as there will be many physical changes and growth taking place in your baby.

When you start solid food, you can start with semi solid food like chopped rice and dal, fruits, khichdi etc.

When your baby reaches at 1yr of age you can give solid food, as now your baby would knowing how to chew food and digestion will also improve with balanced healthy diet.

And up to 2 years you must give every thing cooked at home for regular lunch, dinner and snakes.

You can make sure that you baby is taking milk and milk products as at growing age bones, muscles and teeth are getting developed and calcium is required for proper growth.

Fruits and veges will serve needs of vitamins, minerals of your child.
