When your infant becomes more than 9 months, he/she starts learning new things day by day. He tries to catch new things whatever is found around him. Normally, children learn to walk between ages of 9 months to 18 months. It depends on their physical growth, nature and health condition. Many children start walking from 9 months only while other may start after 15 months. You need to encourage your child for walking step by step to build confidence in him for walking.

Hello,

Normally kids can start confident walking by this age.

But no need to worry as there are some kids who start either walking or talking late.

If your son is not learning things by himself then it is your responsibility to teach him.

Spend some more quality time with your child.

Hold your baby from back solders and start walking, your child will like it and his giggle will make you also happy.

Do not push your baby to do anything, if he resist to walk take him to park with open space where he can learn new skills and is close to nature and other kids of his age.

There are few equipments also available to help baby walk, but it can be risky as baby may fall down and injure himself, so it is always better to be with your baby.

If your baby cry while walking then take him to doctor, as there can be some health issue, do not force child to do anything.

You can find details of developments at 3 year of age from:
