Hi Neer

There can be various reasons for this. Try to analyze how much the level of studies has hanged from standard 1st to 2nd? There are some points you can check

1. See if he's able to understand instructions in english and respond to them properly.
2. Is he facing any problems in reading (mixing up sounds, getting stuck at words, not able to derive meaning in sentences)

Sometimes what happens is the level of studies moves very fast in schools and it becomes difficult for hildren to cope up if not given proper techniques and strategies to learn.

I hope this is of some help to you.

Regards
Swati

Hello,

First make sure that your baby is not suffering from any health issues.

As you have mentioned your kid got vision problem, it can be the reason why he is not able to concentrate in class and due to the same is loosing the interest from studies.

Try your best to solve this issue and once your baby will be comfortable with glasses will start working as before.

If he is not able to concentrate even after glasses then make sure he is not having any other health issue as well, kids will not be able to judge their problem and talk to you, you will have to ask your baby in very polite way if is having any problem.

If he is healthy enough then just spend some quality time with your baby.

You can find more tips on how to spend quality time with your kids from:

My son is 6yrs 8months old in class 2 . Earlier in class 1 he was a very good boy , paying attention in the class , studying well , keeping his work updated etc. But nowadays in class 2 he never pays attention in class , keeps on talking , work is always incomplete. I am a little worried for him . And he has a vision problem so the doctors have suggested glasses for him . Which he will be getting soon . Please give me some suggestions how to improve his behavior .
